Travellers Delight

Today is my Birthday, its a good thing. Bad thing, this is the first year that i'm not with my family to enjoy it. Reasons can be many can't leave job for even one day to high air ticket charges and traveling through trains won't be feasible. I mean it takes more than 40 hours to reach my home town.

So, just for fun i tried checking the current prices for the air tickets today......and they are at its peak. And while blog hopping, i found information about Accor Hotels 3-Day Super Sale Asia Pacif
ic
which are providing such great offers for next 3 days, across the world. I mean, they must be good in this cause providing offers like this especially in Asia is a big thing to do. There are so many places and you require a strong network to maintain the reputation.

This is a good place for travellers. Nice portal you can check information and book hotels, best living places around the world. And you don't even need to ask anyone about it, like you require everytime before leaving for a place to visit.

Check this portal, if you are leaving for holidays......if not....then also check it....it may help later.

22 Down

Hey All,

Its my Birth-Day today. If, i'm in your list of friends in facebook or orkut, you may have seen it there.

Yes, the phone is ringing since 00:00 AM, 28th October. So, since a couple of days i've been thinking of what i should post on my B'day. Nothing came into my mind.......i was carrying the same thing with me to the bed.....and it was on my mind all time. So, today morning, when i woke up. This idea came into my mind. Don't know how bad or good it is but this is one of those feeling which strangely comes to the mind when you wake up. It felt as if, i was thinking about the whole thing all night and felt confident about it.

So here it goes, i've planned to break the last 22 years for this post.

1987- The year i was born.

1988- Really don't remember anything about it. Come on, i was too young.

1989
- My brother told me that he used to let me win a race only cause i use to cry after loosing.

1990- My father told me that he bought me my first bat(that's why i'm such a huge fan of Cricket).

1991- I joined my first school.

1992- One of those years of which i don't have any memories.

1993- My uncle, father's bro, got married and then he no longer took me to school(only thing i remember of that year).

1994- That was the year when i had my first favorite actor -- SANJAY DUTT

1995- don't remember.

1996- Being the huge cricket buff and Cricket world cup held first time in India, that was the first world cup which i saw start to end and remember, i think, most of it.

1997 - I left my first school and joined a new one. Miss my friends from the old school........damn i'm not in contact with any one of them.

1998- Failed an exam in the monthly test. The only i have ever failed in my school life. It was terrible, i cried the whole night.

1999- My first real love.

2000- My first favorite actress came into the Indian Movie Industry. Have been in love with her since then. Never miss a single movie of her. She didn't make it big in the industry as was expected but she'll be my fav for life.

2001- First time my school group had an outing...which made us come close as a group. We are still together, all 14 of us. The same year was marked as the year of rise of SHAM. We four friends called us. Every word is the initial of one of our name. Like second one is mine Hitesh :)

2002- Passed the 10th standard. Got disapointing results which was a big switch.

2003- 14 of us were not together and were falling apart with some of us moved to distant places.

2004- Won school championship for table tennis. Also passed out my school. Entered the college for graduation.

2005- First year of college, found great friends. Become distant from school friends.
2006- Got into first and only fight of my life in college.

2007- Bought a Nokia N70 of my blogging money. My first phone. Came close to school friends again.

2008- Appeared to join in Indian Army. Couldn't make it. Completd graduation. Joined my first job. Made good friends at the job. Still with them.

2009- Changed job. Left home and moved to new city.

So, these are the last 22 year of my life................
There will be a couple of more B'day posts.

Happy Birthday to ME people \,,,/

Kerela Wedding

Hi All,

Hey, if you people are thinking why i wasn't dropping by your blogs, well the simplest reason and the truth is "I was out of town attending a wedding". The place is exactly 7 hour drive from my place.

So, i left Friday nite and reached there early morning on Saturday. I'm one of the worst travelers you'll ever see. No, i don't puke all the way but i can't sleep while traveling. Yea, i slept some one hour that night and was so tired yesterday morning that i didn't even leave my hotel room for traveling around and to see the place.

I like wandering around new places. I think this is the best way of exploring the place around you and to know the people around. But this day, because of no sleep, i didn't get the chance to leave my room.

Ok, then was the wedding. Now, wedding in Southern part of India is way to different. Yes, the basic are very similar because we all are from same religion but the way they do it and we do it in Northern India was so contrasting. The dresses, ceremonies and food (i was waiting the whole day for that part) all were different. Regarding food, North Indian wedding's rarely have non-veg dishes, but here, we had like everything and because kerela is coastal area, we had some of the best sea food of my life(P.S. - I haven't eaten sea food a lot. I can count the number of times i have).

And because this was the first South Indian wedding i was attending and didn't knew what to wear and that's why i was dressed so different from the others. I was looking so different from the herd that everyone would have easily guessed i'm not from South India.

Then after the wedding was over, i needed to come back and travel the same day because i have job and needed to get by monday.

So, i traveled again. Reached home on sunday morning. Slept again till late evening. Yea, as i mentioned in my last post about my friend(Nikhil Nandan Singh) who celebrated his brithday on the 23rd of October, he suggested us this nice Muslim restaurent near by, where we ate today night. I must say Muslim restaurents have such good non-veg food that when ever i want to for non-veg, i hunt for a Muslim restaurent.

We ate Mutton Biryani and Dry mutton. Pics from there too.

I know you all had great weekend.....and people not from India....i know its still Sunday there. So all you enjoy the weekend.

Scorpion's Month

Hi Everyone,

From today the month of Scropion's starts. Why i'm posting it? Come on, you people don't remember it. Its my Birthday coming up next week and I'm a Scropion.

Talking about Scorpion, let me give out some traits of an scropion.

1- Fickle - Scropions are fickle and they can't decide on anything. Probably, that's the reason why i'm a bad decision maker. I think from heart.

2- Dual Personalities- Scropion always have this dormant and dominant personalities. It really takes hardwork to take talent out of a Scorpion. I meant especially if talent is the dormant personality.

3- Memory- Scorpion's never forget, especially, if the memory is one which hurt. Scorpions never forgive. They may say it that they have but once they loose confidence and trust on you then it won't be coming back.

4-Sting- Like a scorpio, Scorpion's also sting you bad. They may not do it physically but they'll hit you when and where it hurts the most.

5-Lover's- Scorpion's are dedicated lovers. If they are with you, they never back out. They'll go the world's end with you.

Enough of the praises and i don't want to talk about the bad part about Scorpion's.

So now, this for WISHING HAPPY BIRTHDAY to a friend.

NIKS (Nikhil Nandan Singh)

He's a fellow classmate. Its been about 10 years know him. He's also my room-mate for the first 5 months in this new city. You have seen him. He was there in the pics which i took from the stadium.

His links:
Facebook , Orkut

He is the middle one. Don't have clear one........ Sorry.

Insulated Lunch Tote's

Hey, its back to school time here India. I mean the vacations are over for the kids and the parents can now spend their day peacefully now. And its not in India, in many countries the schools are reopening after a vacation.

As a kid, i used to hate take the same stuff again next year to a new classroom and always asking my parents to get me everything new for a new class. May be your kids to the same. I searched some information about these stuff and came across toddler backpack: now this is something i would have fought for if was a kid. There were some more interesting stuff on webpage like an insulated lunch tote, nap mat etx.

If you get new stuff for the kids, they will go to school with more excitement. I have been there and have done that's why i'm telling you. I know you must have gone through the same when you were a toddler.

So try it, give'em a chance

Comet Ikeya-Seki - Wordless Wednesday (NOT)

Hello All,

Today, its science day. I was going through the newspaper in the morning when i came across the news about Comet Ikeya-Seki and today is its 44th anniversary, since the day it was first seen. Comet Ikeya-Seki is also know as the The Great Comet of 1965.

When i was a kid, i was so fascinated by the stars and sky and moon. I wanted to know and learn so much about them all. I remember when i was in 6th Standard, and my big brother was in 8th standard, i used to read my brother's science book cause it had a few chapters about astronomy and i couldn't wait to reach the 8th class and then read it. Internet was not an option at that time....or not an affordable option for me at that time. My facination towards them was one of the primary reason of becoming an Engineer. However, i lost the path and now working in software industry.

Leaving all that behind, back to Comet Ikeya-Seki. It was discovered by Kaoru Ikeya and Tsutomu Seki, independently. I have read that it was one of the brightest of all time. Well not all time cause scientists were not able to go so back in to the history, but yes it was the brightest in the last 1000 years. Now that's an amazing fact. It was so bright on that day that it was visible in the daytime next to the SUN. Man, that must have been some shine. Awesome...and Legen- wait for it- dary.

Sorry for adding the Barney Stinson. I think i'm watching too much of How i met your mother.

Happy Wordless Wednesday people......well not wordless for me.

This Diwali

Hi everyone,

If I haven’t visited you in last two days and plz excuse me cause, I was busy with Diwali and the celebrations.

This diwali was good cause I saw, for the first time in my life, a live cricket match from the stadium. Bad thing about this diwali, I wasn’t with my friends and family. But anyways, left me tell you about the good part, also I’ll post the bad part also.

The feeling of watching a match live from a stadium is heavenly. Atleast, I felt that way in my first experience. The capacity of the stadium was more than 35,000 and yes, it was jam packed because two of the best teams in the league where lined up to play. We were all screaming and shouting for the players. We were cheering each and everything thing happening on the ground.

It was one of the captain’s(Anil Kumble) birthday. We all stood up and sang the birthday song for him. The captain ANIL KUMBLE is the legend in the cricket history. I know most of you don’t know him. But come to India and tell anybody that you love him. You’ll get a especial treatment.

Back to the stadium. My home team won the toss and batted. The support for both the team was so much that you can’t tell; by the noise we were making that, which one has more support.

Posting some pics. More will come in coming days.

Happy Diwali

Hey everybody, its Diwali today. One of India's most celebrated festivals. The day has different significance for different religions in India. Everybody and every religion India celebrates Diwali for different reasons. What are the reasons? you must be thinking about that.........and want me to explain............but no i won't do that..........cause i have somebody really especial who talk the talk about Diwali on behalf of me.

Presenting Mr. Barack Obama . In case, you don't know him. He is president of America or United States of America and also recently won the Nobel prize for peace. No more please listen to him.

My plans for Diwali

Well, since i'm born, 1987, today is the first Diwali i'm not celebrating with family. I'm away from my family and friends. Well, i actually i have some friends here also but nonetheless, i'm not so glad to not make to my home city for the festival.

I've bought tickets to a amazing match between Delhi DareDevils V/S Banglore Royal Chalangers and another one between Cape Cobra's and Victorian BushRangers. I'm expecting it to be a great match and my favorite team is playing The Delhi DareDevils. They represent my home town team.

Then what other things we do, Hindu's, on Diwali. Its a festivals of getting everyone together for me other than the real significance. When i used to be at home, i would go out and give sweets(mithai) to all my neighbour's and by all i mean all, atleast 15-20 of them. Then, we also give out sweets to all the relatives me can reach and obviously we aren't the only one doing this, whole of India does this. That's why these days there's a lots of sweetness in the air.

We also light up Diya's,"lamps" you may call them. This is to kill the darkness in the night signifiying removing darkness acorss the world. We also bust crackers, a lot of crackers. But this year, i'm not buying crackers because i believe there will be a lot of fireworks in the Stadium during the matches.

I know not many of my readers are from India, but still i would like to tell, if you people know any Indian's around, go celebrate this festival with them because you'll enjoy it too. For foodie's, go to Indian resturants to find exclusive Diwali sweets.
DO POST whatever you did for Diwali. I'll also post the pics from the match.

Link From My Blog

Hi all,

I have enrolled as a member to Link From Blog so that i can buy blog links. Why i joined in? cause i think this site will take my blog to many more people. The reach of my blog will increase. I read about this site from another fellow blogger and then i also contact that fellow blogger about the worth of enrolling here.

The person gave some really good comments about this site and that lead me to join it. Last 2-3 months, i have been pretty active as far as my blog and blogging is concerned. Dropping entrecards here and there and following my favorite blogs...............to pull more and more people to my blog. However, pulling people to any blog is not easy. I started as a new bee in the Entrecard community then after less than 3 months, i have made it to the top 15 blogs of my category "Personal Dairy" which consists of more than 3200 blogs.

Entrecard is getting me good traffic, however after sometime i got know that its limiting. It limits your traffic.......so i started looking for other option. During which i encountered this web page.

Hope they will help me reach masses........\,,,/

Note :- They have a sign up bonus too. How many have that huhhhh???????

Pee In The Pant Moment

Hi all,

Today, when i was in the bus coming to my office, i heard about this contest on Radio where they where doing this contest. The contest theme was "Pee In The Pant Moment".

Although i didn't called them and participated, but still i thought what was i my "Pee In The Pant Moment". Then, i went deep into my heart and started rewinding things.

Then, i found one moment. This is from my college days. Me and a couple of my friends were playing Table Tennis in the gym. The college gym was inside the boys hostel. After sometime, the guys who lived in the hostel came and asked us to leave and let them play. But we didn't want to leave the game in between and we didn't afraid of them. So after some loud argument, it became a fight. And, soon one of those five guys pulled a iron rod out of somewhere, and that was my "Pee In The Pant Moment". I was stunned, standing there like a mannequin. I was so afraid at that moment thinking what will happen if that guy hits me with that rod. Although, i didn't really pee in my pants........but that was something......which could have made me do it.

What happened after that? Thank god, one of my friend was not out of his senses and he kicked that guy and took the rod from him and threw it away and saved me. I really thank my friends who were there.

After that incident, we three people were like so popular in the college. Everybody knew as the people who beat the hostelers in the hostel........it was like killing a Lion inside its own den. They all must have thought that we were really brave to do that......but they didn't knew the real "Pee In The Pant Moment".

Note :-
Ok, here's the catch. Tell me your Pee in the pant moment and if i'll like it.......then the winner will get 1000 EC from me. So, let's do it. The Contest is here for a of couple days. Till 28, Oct.

Riding In Cars With Boys

I saw this movie last night. I have seen this earlier but this is the third time i saw it and its not cause i didn't get. I saw it three times cause i like the movie and i love Drew Barrymore. Especially, this movie of Drew.

This movie was really out of the blue for Drew because she had established a image of a girl seen upon as a comedian or a romantic movie actoress. But after this movie everybody started taking her seriously. I think many people would have gone to see this movie expecting a comedy but where disapointed but good disapointment, because with this movie Drew tamed a new realm of acting and not only tamed it but nailed it really good.

This movie is about the struggle of talent girl who falls at different steps of her life which leads to different twists and turns. I have always read a praise "When a good book is released, read it before some director destroys and makes a movie out of it". But i never liked reading a book, am not into reading that's why i have seen a lot of movies based on different books.

This movie is really gripping. Not only thrillers and action are gripping, if drama and romantic movie also need that ingredient to keeps its viewers to their seats. So again back to the movie, this movie always keeps you at your seat's edge to know what's going to happen now?

This movie boasts of awesome performance by Drew Barrymore playing the lead character of Beverly Donofrio. She is a typical American high school who falls in love with some and they guy didn't return the same. Then she find a guy, who doesn't matches her expectation but yes he loves her more than anything. Then, Beverly gets knocked up by the guy when she was still in her teens which leads her to marry the guy and also dropping the idea to be a college graduate for the time. Then creeps in the issues which happens with every married couple. Her husband is a drugie and is most of the time high. He is not able to support the family on his own. Bev thinks he would be a bad influence to her young boy. So they get apart, then how she brings her kid or rather the kid brings her up. The kid playing Jason in the movie was also good especially the small one. I tried out find out his name but the cast has many different name of the character Jason.

A few moments from the movie i liked were, when Bev dances for Jason on his fav song to make him happy and distract from his father screaming cause of the pain. Then their is one when she in an interview with jason and everything screws up.

This movie is really good with good direction. I want to give a thumbs up to the director Penny Marshall.
Steven Zahn is also the best things about the movie. His character was really good and he did full justice to the character. I have seen a lot of him movies but out of the couple of i have, this is the best the of Steven Zahn. His character is the one you'll bring home and will be in your mind.

Strongly recommend this movie and for Drew lovers watch it now.

E Cigarettes

Hey All,

I'm going to talk about smoking today. Are you a smoker or living with some one who smokes? I don't smoke and one of the things where i would like the world to follow me on. Smoking isn't good for both, the one who's smoking and also for the one who's inhaling that smoke.

Then i came across these e cigarettes . I won't suggest any person who is a non-smoker to try it but yes, to all the people who smoke. This product is amazing for smoker. This is not as harmful as cigarettes and it will satisfy your tobacco cravings. It doesn't leave any odor behind. Its a convenient and smart choice. Another convenience is not to buy one frequently because they come with e cig refills. The whole package consists of a e cigarettes charger too.

Note to all smokers, try this one.

Gift towel wraps

Hey, the festive season is here and there will be lots of celebreations, partying and gifts. Talking about gifts, i saw some gift thingy's while hopping around on the net which i think can be handy. You can suggest some of your ideas and what are you gifting this Christmas????

First are these are the towel wraps. Something you can get or present someone you living with.......and its will be pretty handy for you cause then you don't have to watch'em walking naked around the house.

Now this one is for girls, "Terry towel wrap". Totally a girl thing. However one the best thing is that you can customize the color and many different things and can watch how it looks on their web page.

Then there is one more gift personalized duffle bag. These are carry bags, available in different colors and you can get you name written on the them.

Today's Day

Today was tough. I woke up late this morning. Missed the first bus, caught the second and was late about 10 mins......good thing.....timing isn't a big issue. Next, one of my friend called while i was traveling to office that too when i talked to her like ....... 2 times in last 3 days. Then, she broke the news that she's getting engaged. I wasn't shocked cause i knew it was coming soon but yes thought how will be able to make it.

Engagement is also as big as a wedding here. Its not always like a guy proposing a girl. Anyways, it will be a once in a life time day for her and being a good friend.......yea, that's me. I want to attend it. I'll try my best to be there, said the same to her. However, even i'm not confident rite now of making it. Really, really want to be there. Pray for me.

Another thing happened was the one big issue have been solved. The issue food. If you remember, i have moved to a new place.......... and the issue was that as i don't know how to cook and eating out everyday was boring and not feasible for me. Also. i'm not used to it. Now its been solved and I'm happy for that. Actually, the issue got resolved today and i don't have to go out from today.

Wishing all a happy Tuesday and Wednesday...and other days too............Rite now i'm wishing you all to get atleast one good news today.

Directing Drew

This Friday released WHIP IT. I don't know if you have heard about it, but this is the first movie Drew Barrymore is directing. Why am i interested? She is THE women i like........she is rite there at the top with a few more.

The first time i saw Drew on screen in the movie 50 First Dates. An awesome movie. Then, yes i fell in love with the beautiful lady. Then, again after a couple of months later i saw her in the movie E.T. and i said to myself "i would love to have a baby girl like that". She had those chubby cheeks whom you'll be compelled to squeeze till they become red. Then she had this awesome smile. I was like :o .

And you know, although she is 34 now, she carries the same smile on her face. Watching her smile reminds me of watching her smiling and screaming in the movie E.T. After that i have seen almost all the Drew Barrymore movies some of my favorites which you should also watch even if you have seen them ........ Wedding singer, Never Been Kissed, Ever After, Riding Cars with Boys (Watch when scene where she dances for her son Jason in the movie), Poison Ivy, Lucky you, Fever Pitch, Duplex etc. And its not just acting, she had produced some really good awesome movies like Donnie Darko, Curious George,Fever Pitch, Duplex etc.

She has now stepped into the shoes of a director and i know she's going to rock in this role too.

P.S. :- If you have seen the movie, plz tell me how it is cause it will take atleast 2-3 months to release it in India.

Uniting The Indian Youth

Mera India Bridge the Gap

India has always been looked up as the country full of different colors and cultures. People come here all around the world for a true experience of their life, however what they read and have seen about India isn’t what exactly what they find. I read this blog entry by a lady who was from America and was visiting India to see its true colors. Her post did tell that India is a beautiful place to live in; however India didn’t turn out to be what she was expecting. She felt bad after watching the slums around Mumbai Airport. She wrote “Mumbai (or Bombay according to her) was one of the cities she was waiting for long to see and roam around, however what she saw there made her feel that she would have taken a guide who would have shown her the only the good places around.” The slums, poverty, illiteracy and other different things she saw which shattered the image what she carried from her home. She especially mentioned that she didn’t regret coming to India and was quite content to come back, however next time she’ll go to the recommended places only so that the picture she weaved about India remains the same.

And it’s not only about people visiting India and the same with people living in India. I lived and was brought up in a neighborhood where people are well educated. They represent different strata of our society. I didn’t believe our society still had issues like Dowry, preferring the boy child etc until I saw that happening around me. If, I ever hear anything about these issues on news channels or read it in newspaper, I always thought what kind of people are they? And always felt like, it doesn’t matter to me. When I used to hear news where people were dying because of poverty or hunger, questions were raised in my mind. Can it be true? People can die because of poverty. I could easily feel the chill in my stomach after reading that news.

Yes, every country has its issues like it’s been said earlier in an Indian movie “No country in the world is perfect, their people make it perfect.” India too have its issues however we need to work together to eradicate them. Nothing is going to happen on its own. We, THE PEOPLE, have to work for it.

Yes, India has pledged to achieve some important milestones by 2015, which will be for the best of the people. Following are the goals India has pledged and I'm supporting this cause. This is the first time, I think, I’m doing something substantial for the country and I’m kind of feeling proud of it right now. There are many, however, I’m raising a few issues in this post.

* Eradicate extreme poverty and hunger

There are still people dying around different states of India because they can’t afford a meal. This season because of late monsoon and less rain, many districts around Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Madhya Pradesh were called Drought affected. At this point of time, when the technology has advanced so much, we are still facing the issues like Drought’s. Yes, I know that this is a problem which can’t be fixed in a day and also I don’t know how the system works but when there are people dying because of it, then I feel it doesn’t matter how you do it?

Suggestions: - To workaround issues like poverty and hunger, the elected representatives needs to play the biggest part. They need to make policies so that people can earn money. Start different projects around the states like Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka and Rajasthan which I believe are states that are require special attention regarding this issue. Government officials, Educationists, Health personnel comes are the second most important people because they need to carry out and execute the plans and policies in the correct manner so that maximum people get the benefit. Celebrities and Youth can play a vital role too. They can attract funds from the whole country to help the needy. Thus every strata of the society need to contribute to cause may it be media, corporate leaders, NGO’s etc.

* Achieve universal primary education

Really really important. We need to achieve universal primary education if we want to grow as a country. Providing free primary education around India was a great step by our government. One thing I can say about the education policy of India is that I’m content with what different things Indian government has done to bring kids to school. I liked their approach Mid-day meals, Aanganbadi’s, admissions into private school, cheap education in government schools. This is one issue I think we are progressing pretty well.

Suggestions: - The only suggestion I would like to make is to reach the masses with what different free facilities government is providing. People need to be told that government is trying to help them however they have to send their child to the school. Celebrities, youth, NGO’s, Government officials, Government officials, Educationists, Health personnel all play pivotal role in uproot illiteracy.

* Promote gender equality and women’s empowerment by eliminating gender disparity in schools

We always boast about women reaching and working at different places and post which were always said to be a men’s place. And then we feel that the there is gender equality because some women have made it big. But still we have to make changes so that women don’t have to struggle to get what are their fundamental rights. We should feel that if some women have been successful in their respective field so we are not gender biased. We need to make changes, so the male ego doesn’t come in between of any woman’s success.

Suggestions: - Gender biasing is all a state of mind; even the educated people do the same. We need to change the mentality of the society. We need to reach the schools and start it at the basic level. Spreading awareness among the kids. Celebrities, NGO’s can play a major role in this cause.

* Reduce the child mortality rate

Yes, people are still relying to local, unhygienic ways to delivering a child. Also being no hospital close to the villages, the delivery of child becomes a major issue. Also we need to educate people to get their child antibiotic injection so that their kids can be safe from different lethal diseases like hepatitis, polio etc. We have been very successful in uprooting POLIO out of our country. A successful campaign by the government of distributing the POLIO vaccine free came really handy. NGO, Celebrities and the youth helped a lot for this cause. However, still POLIO is not the only disease we need to uproot. There are many more.

Suggestions: - Doing similar thing done to eradicate the polio issue to uproot the other diseases too. Celebrities, government, NGO’s, Media, health personals, Educationists, government officials and youth all can help to this cause.

* Reduce the maternal mortality rate

Many women die in India while giving birth to a new life. The reasons for this, people still stick to their local and homely procedures of delivering a child and not going into a hospital to deliver a child. Delivering a child in unhygienic condition is fatal to both- the mother and the child. However, lack of knowledge leads to this kind of decisions.

Suggestions: - Celebrities and Media can help to take the awareness to the masses. NGO’s and Youth of India can reach the masses and educate them about the security of delivering in a hospital. Government officials can make policies so that people who can’t afford expensive treatment can be helped. Health personals play the pivotal role here. The entire government employed doctors should work in villages for atleast 2-3 years.

* Combat HIV/AIDS, malaria and other diseases

India is one of the leading countries where maximum people die of HIV/AIDS. Awareness is what required throughout the society. Government have done many things like educating people about the causes and reasons, free condoms, awareness through radio and television and reaching people too. Celebrities came up in support of uprooting AIDS from the country. NGO’s did their bit by reaching the villages and the individual. Government is trying hard to fight against the different diseases by providing the free vaccines and free treatments too. However, the plans are not been executed well enough.

Suggestions: - The whole system should be transparent. People should know why the help given by the government isn’t reaching them? Also the government official, health personals and elected representatives are important while executing the government’s plan. Celebrities and media need to spread the awareness regarding the reasons and causes.

* Ensure environment sustainability

Saving the environment should also be on top of our list. The whole world is suffering from major environment changes like global warming, ozone layer and global meltdown. I believe the people who can be responsible for these are educated and aware of what their actions is leading the world into however they still don’t work against it. Many developed countries are over using their resources and creating a lot of waste.

Suggestions: - People should be made aware of what affects their action will make to the world. We need to make a healthy world for our coming generation. Banning plastic bags and limiting the industrial waste which damages the environment. Government should take some serious and strong measures against the causes before it’s too late.

* Develop global partnership for development

Development isn’t just a word; it includes a lot of things like employment, sound education system, healthy society, healthy economy etc. As no country in world can be independent, everybody is dependent on someone else for some resource. That’s why a global partnership is what required to make India grow and develop as a nation.

Suggestions: - Celebrities can make important contribution towards this cause. They represent India globally and Government can take help of their popularity to spread awareness about INDIA across the world. Media is also equally important.

One last thing I hope is that we just don’t write about it, we should also work for it.

Jai Hind.
