Hey all,

Monsoon has hit Bengaluru and the weather is just awesome nowadays. It rains every evening and sometimes in the day too. There have been days when, we didn't even get to see the sun as the dark clouds covered the sky of Bengaluru. 

Rain is the primary and i believe,probably, the only thing i love about Bengaluru. Being a Delhi-wala, who doesn't get much of rains even in monsoon season, i have always been fond of rains. I used to out of the house and enjoy the rain. I still love to get drenched, though now, i'm surrounded by people who don't like it. Here, none of my friends like to go out in rain. They try not to get wet. I guess that's because here, it rains quite often. But, i still feel the same what a frog would feel in rain.

Well, i can never have enough of rain *Crossed Fingers*.

Flush Google Buzz

Aren't happy with the New Google Buzz?

Yes, it is more sort of does the same thing as twitter does. Can easily be called as being inspired from twitter with some augmentation being done to twitter and it does the same thing.

I like Google Buzz only cause of the fact that here i know the people who i'm following and responding to their buzzes or they responding to my buzzes makes more sense.

But i also have figured out that there are many people who don't like Google Buzz and irritated of it. As twitter is like whenever you want to you log in and tweet thing but Google Buzz is like you'll see it if you are accessing your mail even though you don't want it to sit there or you go online on Gmail for official purposes and don't want to get distracted by the buzzes always showing up.

Well there is an option to disable the Google Buzz, which in case you haven't seen it right under the same Gmail window. I disable and enable Google Buzz in accordance to my need and you can do the same with out any hassle.

Indi(a)Blogger Sunday Meet

Hey All,

First i apologize for a late post. You can't blame me for it. By now you must know that i'm awesomely lazy. Leave that behind, today's post is about the INDIBLOGGER's blogger meet last sunday.

IndiBlogger 

Indiblogger is the bloggers community for all Indian Bloggers. Most of the Indian bloggers are part of this huge community. That was the reason why i joined this community some 3-4 months back. I was recognized soon there as the i got as IndiRank of 75 out of 100. The higher you are, the better you are doing.

Here's the Story

This blogger meet was proposed by one of our fellow blogger named Akhil, how it was sad that at the day he was not able to make it to the meet. But till the date, 10/01/10 ...... there were 34 registration cause there are lot of blogger in the IT City of India, Bengaluru.

First the meet was supposed to be at a Cafe Coffee Day center but cause of the response, it was shifted to POTLUCK Veg Rest. which is owned by one of the fellow Blogger B.K. Birla(also owns asklaila.com, a local search engine). So this was about the venue and talking about the participants, i can proudly say that there were all big shots of blogging. Starting from people who know all about recent technologies to people who were the SEO Guru's to people owning Internet Marketing Companies to people who left their job in MNC and now blogging. 

The meet started with everybody coming up and telling about how they got into blogging? what are they doing now? and all different experiences they had while blogging. We called it the Few Minutes of Fame. I liked this part of the meet especially cause till now i knew how i got inspired and started blogging, but now i know how these big shots started blogging and how they made to what they are now?. Can't really describe it in words what experience i gained from the Few Minutes of Fame which being a blogger i should know but as all of you know, i'm not that good at this either.

Guilt

Though, it was a gaining experience where everybody learned something but still there was this discomfort for me being alone. Why i was alone? Well during the Few Minutes of Fame, i got to know that i was only blogger (because i can't recall if anybody else said it) who was blogging for money. Other that me, everybody else was doing it for pleasure or as a hobby. This was the only part where i was trying to hide behind someone but couldn't cause i was sitting right in the middle of group. Then, there was the part when everybody was discussing about Google Page Rank and all the SEO guru's were putting in their best so that people like me can understand and use the info someday but it all bounced over my head.

At the end, i want to thank all the people for being there and having me. B.K. Birla for hosting and sponsoring the meet. Sorry to all the people i met in the meet cause i don't remember the names of all. Yea, i'm bad at remembering names.

When i heard about this product, it hit me like a lighting. Dude, great idea. I think this is one product which everyone would like to have with them. If i was married and had kids, then certainly i would have got this.

Ok. So what's the product? Well, it's a web page or portal which allows you to make web page dedicated to your child or children, if you had extra time. So think of it, a whole web portal for your baby. You can post the whole life story of your kid. From the day one till the time they are able enough to take over it. You can post all the first's. Her first step, her first word, her first tooth, her second tooth, her first bite, her first pet, her first pic in nappy, her first Birthday, first and every halloween dress, first Christman, her first Thanks giving .........oohh man i can count so many thing that it will take the whole day and it still won't complete.

And yes, i used a lot of "HER" above cause i want a baby girl. Its too early to decide but still its a decision made and won't change. :)

Ok, one more thing i would say. I know you all visiting me are bloggers and you do have a page of your own where you do share stuff about your kids. Suggestions for you.

One this portal will only be or exclusively for your kids and stuff about them.
Two, this would be perfect for the people who are not bloggers. I mean you can refer your friends about this. Good thing, as it is dedicated to the kids,its really easy to manager. Its not about advertisements or sponsored posts here.

I was so excited about it that i went ahead and checked some of the highly ranked pages they have. Yea, they were awesome. Parents putting pics and video's of their kids here. It felt really good.

Would like to recommend this to everyone.

Kerela Wedding

Hi All,

Hey, if you people are thinking why i wasn't dropping by your blogs, well the simplest reason and the truth is "I was out of town attending a wedding". The place is exactly 7 hour drive from my place.

So, i left Friday nite and reached there early morning on Saturday. I'm one of the worst travelers you'll ever see. No, i don't puke all the way but i can't sleep while traveling. Yea, i slept some one hour that night and was so tired yesterday morning that i didn't even leave my hotel room for traveling around and to see the place.

I like wandering around new places. I think this is the best way of exploring the place around you and to know the people around. But this day, because of no sleep, i didn't get the chance to leave my room.

Ok, then was the wedding. Now, wedding in Southern part of India is way to different. Yes, the basic are very similar because we all are from same religion but the way they do it and we do it in Northern India was so contrasting. The dresses, ceremonies and food (i was waiting the whole day for that part) all were different. Regarding food, North Indian wedding's rarely have non-veg dishes, but here, we had like everything and because kerela is coastal area, we had some of the best sea food of my life(P.S. - I haven't eaten sea food a lot. I can count the number of times i have).

And because this was the first South Indian wedding i was attending and didn't knew what to wear and that's why i was dressed so different from the others. I was looking so different from the herd that everyone would have easily guessed i'm not from South India.

Then after the wedding was over, i needed to come back and travel the same day because i have job and needed to get by monday.

So, i traveled again. Reached home on sunday morning. Slept again till late evening. Yea, as i mentioned in my last post about my friend(Nikhil Nandan Singh) who celebrated his brithday on the 23rd of October, he suggested us this nice Muslim restaurent near by, where we ate today night. I must say Muslim restaurents have such good non-veg food that when ever i want to for non-veg, i hunt for a Muslim restaurent.

We ate Mutton Biryani and Dry mutton. Pics from there too.
