Wordless Wednesday - SAIL
I have to put some words. Ok, this is the picture i took when i saw a shop who, i think have misspelled "Sale" as "Sail" or may be it was intentional because they didn't change it for next 3-4 days. Even, if its intentional, it still is stupid. This is a "John Players" show room in between on the most popular shopping markets in Bengaluru. I don't know how many of you have heard of the brand but it has good reputation in India especially for its formal wears.

Beach Trip 2 - Om Beach
Hey All,
First of all, this is 300th post......so me celebrating the 300 post on THE WAY IT IS. Thank you all for being here and your support.
Moving on, this is the part where i reach the beach. This is the second post in the series of three. We reached the place Gokarna in the morning about 10 AM IST. Being this my first trip to the beach, i was confused to what to do first because there is an ancient temple right in the middle of the city and some 300 meter away from the nearest beach. So what we decided was to go to the beach.....get wet, come back to the room and bathe and then go to the temple. Though, i'm not into religion, you can say i'm atheist but i love the history of India and the religion. I hate idolatry. Leaving that behind.....here are the pics from the Gokarna Beach.

Because, it was the first time at beach, that why my eyes were burning cause of the salty water but that didn't stop me from enjoying.
In the background, the OM BEACH, place we came for. This is the second beach if you coming from north to south and there are two more in the row named - NEW MOON Beach and PARADISE Beach. Though, Om beach is the largest but all the beach are peaceful and clean. This is place is some 100-150 KM from GOA, which has the most famous beaches in India that's why this place is not crowded. Here, we got what we wanted peace for two days. The place didn't even had mobile network coverage.
There were a lots of tourists here. You can say they were more in number that the natives. As the day started ending, it didn't even felt like India......so many tourist....black, white, tanned :) .......When talked to them found people were coming from all parts of India to this place. From Gulf Countries, Argentina, Greece, Portugal, Korea etc. Best part.....all were very satisfied by the their trip. Imagine when some body tells you your country and people are great huhhhh......yea, had that feeling.
People mostly come to India after retirement or if they are young, then to find peace. They get involved into religious activities too. I feel that strange.
That's my friend writing I LOVE YOU in Vietnamese. For the obvious reason that his girl friend is from Vietnam.

Beach Trip - Post One
Hey All,
It has been a long time when i posted something about me. So, today i'm starting a three post series of my trip to the beach, remember its was my first trip to the beach which makes it especial to me.
So the first post of the trip is about the Journey Starts. For the first set of pictures, i'm starting with the ones where we were travelling or sleeping...in the bus.
We were five people in this trip named Apurva, Hitesh(that's me), Nikhil, Raghav and Yogi. I was friends with the other three except Yogi, whom i met for the first time on this trip.
The bus was starting from a place close to our house at 19:30 PM Friday evening. Except Yogi, we all were on time but Yogi made a last minute entry.

There is Me in the front, then Raghav being dry humped by Apurva and Yogi almost getting lost at the end. Nikhil is missing from this one. But you can find in the next one.
Here, me behind the camera and other in front. Everybody was excited cause we were expecting to reach the beach early morning. The bus was a sleeper bus and was very comfortable. My friends took some liquor, yea we were carrying booze which they were thinking of having some in the bus to sleep better. Though i don't drink, so i brought cold drink for me. Half way in the journey, everybody else in the bus was either sleeping or snoring or doing both. My seat was in alone that means none of my friends were with me. Around 12 in the night because of all the cold drink , i was feeling to pee and have been holding for more than an hour cause the driver won't going to stop the bus for only one person to pee. Then, i went up to the driver and asked when will we going to stop. He said in next 15 mins.......which brought lots of relief. But i was thinking i had less water then what my friends had and how are they not feeling it. Then the bus stopped at a motel kind of a place. I went out ASAP and peed. Then i checked with my friends, asked why didn't they wanted to pee. They told that they could not hold it for long and filled up all the bottles we brought with us.

There place was a no where land. No signs of living beings as far as we could look actually.
However the problem was fixed with in 20 mins and we were back on track. We reached the place early in the morning. Next pic was taken in the morning........well all look bad in the morning. So do i and i admit it.

Burps
Hi Al,
Its been long since i posted some pics. Well these pics are from my B'day treat......which was at this restaurant named Barbecue-Nation. We went for dinner buffet.
So, here the important thing. I'm not a Thank you and Sorry guy. Once i read a Reese Witherspoon interview once in a newspaper where she said that she is teaching her children how to say thank you and sorry. I think that's a good thing. But i'm not used to it. What i think is if you are paying for any service than you don't say thank you for it. I mean come on, you are paying for it.....it's not that the other person is doing some favor to you. That's what i thought till, now i'm changing ........but i know it won't change that easily.
But i think, burp is kind of a Thank You to the person who cooked such a great meal for you. Yup, i think so and believe in it. That's why after eating, i count each burp as a thank you to the person and hope the other person do so too.
So that proves i'm not at all that bad of a person, it's just that i'm a bit different from others.
There is some light problem in a couple of them.....also i'm not good at clicking......

October is over and my god, this was one of the best month for my page in order of page visits. My biggest thanks to Entercard fellow Bloggers. You people are great. I thank all of you for visiting me again and again.
I have reached the best alexa rank of my page since i started blogging which was way back 2 and half years ago March, 2007. My current Alexa Rank is 78,887; sadly without any Google page rank.

The way they have been living there and how they enjoy living there. A nice family kind of blog. I have not seen any other family into blogging here. So, this is kind of different.

My Take - Ok, First there are 7 contributors to this page that's why it is called Vanilla Seven, which kept confusing me for some time. Amazing pictures, i mean it. All the contributors must be having awesome talent in photography. The clearity, the moment they capture. All the picture will talk to you themselves. If you want to learn about Photography, this is it. Nowhere to go from here.

Description - I Blog about myself, my family and friends and talk about things that interest me.
My Take - This blog belongs to Lisa. This is one of the personal Mixed bag blogs. You get everything about Lisa. Her daily activities, about her son or
the happy family life. This blog you can say is all about being Lisa. Hey, my blog is kind of simillar....i think. But she is really good with the words and posts she writes. All the best Lis....... \,,,/. Pic- the happy family.

My Take - You can say this is Ann's photo blog cause she always posts one pic from her Digi cam. She is also in photography, says to be learning but never seems to be like one. The pics are really great.

My Take - Yes, as by the name you may have guessed that its a photo blog. People may think that photo blogs can be easy. Well i don't think so, also like this blog, making a mark in this fraternity is real hard work. Love the pics here. There is always something pleasing about the pictures and very attractive cause of the metaphor of the pics.

Description - Interesting PC problems encountered by a Computer Tech. Plus some other stuff :-)
My Take - This blog has made it three in a row. Also, started this kind of posts three months back and thank to this blog, who have been always in the top 10 droppers, i have got good rank. Needless to describe this blog, cause if you are part of entercard, you must have come across this while blog hopping or may when looking for some help about the technicalities of your computer. Every time i write its a awesome blog and will do it again.

My Take - One of the most famous bloggers on entrecard. Never misses to make his point count. Always keeps something posted on the blog which will attract other bloggers. Kerela Wedding
Hi All,
Hey, if you people are thinking why i wasn't dropping by your blogs, well the simplest reason and the truth is "I was out of town attending a wedding". The place is exactly 7 hour drive from my place.
So, i left Friday nite and reached there early morning on Saturday. I'm one of the worst travelers you'll ever see. No, i don't puke all the way but i can't sleep while traveling. Yea, i slept some one hour that night and was so tired yesterday morning that i didn't even leave my hotel room for traveling around and to see the place.
I like wandering around new places. I think this is the best way of exploring the place around you and to know the people around. But this day, because of no sleep, i didn't get the chance to leave my room.
Ok, then was the wedding. Now, wedding in Southern part of India is way to different. Yes, the basic are very similar because we all are from same religion but the way they do it and we do it in Northern India was so contrasting. The dresses, ceremonies and food (i was waiting the whole day for that part) all were different. Regarding food, North Indian wedding's rarely have non-veg dishes, but here, we had like everything and because kerela is coastal area, we had some of the best sea food of my life(P.S. - I haven't eaten sea food a lot. I can count the number
of times i have).
And because this was the first South Indian wedding i was attending and didn't knew what to wear and that's why i was dressed so different from the others. I was looking so different from the herd that everyone would have easily guessed i'm not from South India.
Then after the wedding was over, i needed to come back and travel the same day because i have job and needed to get by monday.
So, i traveled again. Reached home on sunday morning. Slept again till late evening. Yea, as i mentioned in my last post about my friend(Nikhil Nandan Singh) who celebrated his brithday on the 23rd of October, he suggested us this nice Muslim restaurent near by, where we ate today night. I must say Muslim restaurents have such good non-veg food that when ever i want to for non-veg, i hunt for a Muslim restaurent.
We ate Mutton Biryani and Dry mutton. Pics from there too.
I know you all had great weekend.....and people not from India....i know its still Sunday there. So all you enjoy the weekend.

This Diwali
Hi everyone,
If I haven’t visited you in last two days and plz excuse me cause, I was busy with Diwali and the celebrations.
This diwali was good cause I saw, for the first time in my life, a live cricket match from the stadium. Bad thing about this diwali, I wasn’t with my friends and family. But anyways, left me tell you about the good part, also I’ll post the bad part also.
The feeling of watching a match live from a stadium is heavenly. Atleast, I felt that way in my first experience. The capacity of the stadium was more than 35,000 and yes, it was jam packed because two of the best teams in the league where lined up to play. We were all screaming and shouting for the players. We were cheering each and everything thing happening on the ground.
It was one of the captain’s(Anil Kumble) birthday. We all stood up and sang the birthday song for him. The captain ANIL KUMBLE is the legend in the cricket history. I know most of you don’t know him. But come to India and tell anybody that you love him. You’ll get a especial treatment.
Back to the stadium. My home team won the toss and batted. The support for both the team was so much that you can’t tell; by the noise we were making that, which one has more support.

Garden city of India -- Bengaluru
Its not been much time in this city, yea Garden city of India -- Bengaluru. Just three months...... and the time here have been fantastic till now. Bengaluru is one of those places of India were you will diversity in almost everything - food, people, culture, community, religion, landscape and i can't put everything cause can't remember everything rite now.
Being so special city of India, it hasn't lost it charm. Bengaluru have always been known for the Gardens, have retained charisma. Bengaluru is the IT hub of India and can easily boast of as the most oppertunity providing city to the technical gurus. People are not only coming from different parts of the country but also from other country.
But today its about what hasn't been changed since last few decades. The gardens, don't if its the administration or the people who have done some really great work. Cheers to all the people who are and have been responsible for this effort. Some of the pictures ahead.
