Why Proxy servers are good?
Well, i'm a Computer Graduate so you can take my words on this topic atleast. Proxy server's provide you a safe environment to the user. What happens is that....when we install a proxy server in between the user and the internet. Then, whatever request a user sends to the internet......it goes through the proxy server....which monitors it and if the content is not what is recommended then......it doesn't allow to pass by.
Proxy servers saves you from many malicious things on the internet....may it be pop ups. virus, spy-ware et.al. Check http://Juvos.com for more details.
