Gora(Whitey) Accent

Yes, the following story i'm telling you is a real incident. This is one of those funny call center experiences which you laugh at and when you recall them, you more. I have worked for a call center and i know how funny and loving people can be.

So here it is. Once i was sitting with my friends and cubemates and one of my friends gets a call from this really interesting person. My friend greeted the person the same way as we to all the users who call us.

Friend - Thanks for calling. I'm FRIEND. Can i have you name plz.
Caller - Hi, my name is ABC.
Friend - Hello, sir. So how may i assist you?
Caller - well today morning when i started working with my laptop it started giving me these error messages and its now not even starting.
After some questioning my friend found this issue will take time.

Friend - well this issue will take to resolve. (to initiate a converstation)So where are you calling from?
Caller - I'm in ________.
and may i also know where am i calling?
Friend - ohh yes, you are calling India.
Caller - Okkk... India yea its a beautiful country. I have been there for 3-5 times. Well i also know Hindi.

(Then what came was upexpected)

Caller - Hey you can talk to me in your language too. I know Hindi. You should have said "Aap kaisa hai?(means How are you ?)"
Then i would have replied as "Main accha hoo in my Gora accent (I'm fine in my white guy accent) "

The response from my friends was a laugh. They both laughed on the call for like minutes. This is a very famous instance between we friends. I wish i had that caller.

Being Mr. Chandler Bing

Yea, well i'm starting this series with Chandler beause he is my fav from the show. If given a chance, i'll give him the oscar for the character. Also its just not the character which makes the combination work but Matthew Perry brought the life into this character. Chandler is one funny and extreme intelligent but Matthew's excellent comedy timing makes the character so loveable.

Ok, FRIENDS started showing Chandler as the guy who is always ready to get hooked but is different that the his room-mate Joey who is kinda Casanova. Chandler has a guy kind of impression which was shown early in the first season when one of his colleauge asked him if he could get him a guy date. Then all of his friends also confirmed that they also thought of him as gay person when they first met him. But chandler is not gay.

You'll find many instances where you can actually find more the character other the usual attributes you'll notice. One of another chandler moment is when he upsets the enthusiastic Monica who was trying to get him out of bed and go for a jog. Then after upseting her he dances into his bedroom. This instance showed how intelligent he can be. His presence of mind and spontitity makes him so admirable.

Next instance, when he gets that superbly sexy girl(don't remeber her name). The gal featured in what i suppose was season 1. Chandler starts the affair with just phycial relationship, no strings attached but after that he starts feeling for her and asks her to leave her husband and two other boy-friends. This showed he always wanted a true relationship not just physical.

Then one of the best of Friends Janice. Janice and Chandler's relationship was the most entertaining parts of the series. Chandler who hates Janice but always runs into her here and there. God knows why they always meet eachother again and again and chandler always starts something with her but after sometime he realizes its Janice and he can't stand her and same none of his friends stand Janice too. This instance shows the partial immaturity that the character always carried.

One more instance which i want to bring up in this edition of Being Mr. Bing.

The day when the annoying person who lived under Monica's grand mother's apartment dies and Chandler finds how simillar he is too the guy. He thinks that he'll also become like him alone with cat. This instance showed how insecure he was even when he was surrounded by such awesome friends.

Me as Joey

I think it was Tuesday this week, when i took this quiz on facebook where it guesses which FRIENDS character you fit to and not even me and any of my friends would have guessed the result it showed. It guessed me as "Joey - Joseph Francis Tribbiani".

I was thinking that i'll get Chandler. But Joey hit me really out of no where. If given i would like to be Chandler. Not only cause of Monica and not cause of everyone thinks he is gay but he gives me "ME" kinda vibs.

Well, this post also to announce soon i'll be start writing about the FRIENDS characters. So, would like you to share your experiences with all.

Changes Are Here

Yea, i never thought that my life will change. I hate changes so much that still i want to get back and make everything exactly as it was. But i know, change is the natural phenomena. I have grown. Moved out. These are the big moments of your life. Need of compromise.

Some of the things i have lost while moving from my Teens to responsibilities :

1 Cricket - Man i miss my cricketing days. Its not that i can't play now but its really tough to get people around you raise up to play cricket. No one wants to, also i know time is a big issue. But i want to, i can take out time for it but no body else. But i know one day, i'll be back there.

2 Movies - If you are wondering why i have almost stopped writing about the movies and everthing......... cause i'm not watching much these days......in college life, i used to watch atleast one movie a day on an average but now......its not even once a week and the main or primary reason for this is Time which i don't get now.

3 F'n'F - I miss my friends and family. I never thought they would ever mean so much to me. And yea, you will never know till the day you go away. I left my home, my city for job and moved to a new place. Yea, i have friends here......but still i lived there for 21 years of my life. Its not that easy.

4 Blogging - Yea, another thing. I liketo write. One place i can express no matter what happen. I like being here. But another issue with blogging...... i get time only in the weekends to do it. But i make sure i do it atleast on weekends and visit you all in the weekdays.

Sleep Talker's

One of the new things which i discovered. I knew it from the start, i mean since last....8-10 years. But this is the first time its getting a problem and that is because after my childhood, i'm sharing my room with my friend. At first he also got scared when he heard me first time but now its much better. He is kind of always expecting this everyday.

One of the most strange thing about me takling in sleep is the language is speak. I talk in English, damn it....... English isn't my mother language and not even my primary language. Yes, i use english to communicate in the day but that is because the people i work with, we have only english as a common language. But still the fact that i talk in english while sleeping makes me feel wierd. I mean why not my mother tounge......hhhhhh......leave it.

Moving on.

Importance Versus Necessicity

Everybody understands the literal meaning of Importance and Necessicity but its not easy to really understand the real word. I saw a movie named The Three Kings, think its was a 1998-99 movie. People like Mark Walberg, George Clooney and Ice cube were part of this movie. There was instance when Clooney's character talk about things being important or necessary. That was a great talk and know some dailog in a movie can't motivate people and this isn't about motivating people. Its just that this thing just struck and then stuck into my mind and i really wanted to throw it out in the open.

Things being important, what i understood was, things which have great value for us and we really need them but the same way, no a bit different than importance and the difference is that, necessicity is for the moment, at that vary moment. Thing which may not be important or really stupid can be so necessary at times that you'll regret it after its gone. But, we know and only the individual can know that it was necessary.

People make decision, if they succeed they are happy but if they don't they regret their decisions. One thing i want to say here is never give up on your decisions.Possibly, that decision was not something important but it can be a necessicity for that moment. Always back your decision even if it fails. Admit your failures, they will help you more than they hurt you.

Kambhaqt Ishq - What Happened To AK 47

Another disappointing movie by Akshay kumar and now i'm getting frustated by the movie he is picking these days. I mean this may not be his not be a folp movie but this is certainly a stupid movie. Akshay is doing this for a long time now. It all started with Welcome, followed by Singh is King and then Chandini chowk to China, came again with Tasveer and now with this movie, so the count is 5 stupid movie on a trot. Now, after all this you can't even pick on the director or the story because it can be for a couple of movie a max but it was Akshay who picked up these 5 movies. I know Singh is King and Kambhaqt Ishq are two super hit movie who earned a lot of money.

About the movie, this is a stupid movie and would never recommend any person to watch it. Now a days i think of why am i watching Indian movies because what releases on every friday can't be called a movie. The stroy is picked from a couple of different movies and i won't say it being "inspired" cause the story writer has picked the whole of the basic plot and then making a Hindi version of it and then too they don't admit it.

Kareena kapoor, i never liked this actress god knows why. No, no i know it.....she is a bad actress.........and who ever saying that she was good in Jab We Met would certainly like to enlighten that person. Jab We Met was a pure exellence of Imtiaz Ali and yes his excellence which made Kareena kapoor look good on the screen. I can make sure, thi Imtiaz Ali guy, he'll make it big in the Indian cinema. Kareena have blowen away all the great chances she had. I think Dev and Chameli were the golden chances of her life which she blew really good and the best part she always makes you realize that she isn't a good actress very consistently. You can count almost all the movie into this list. The one that tops of'em all is Khushi some others Tashan, Main prem ki diwani hoo, mujh se dosti karoge, Golmaal returns, kambhaqt ishq, Ashoka, 36 china town, fida etc. I mean you can count them all.

Other star cast isn't also impressive. Amrita Arora being pulled in the movie only for showing skin and Aftab doing what he does the best, not performing. The hollywood people roped in were Sly Stylone, Brandon Routh, Holly valance and Denise Richards.

FRIENDS

One of the most viewed TV series ever and i think they should give out Oscar to each of them who have made this series come true. This is the most entertaining TV series of my life....i mean its only been 22 years but still whatever i have seen till now............this is the best and i can say that anyday anytime. I never saw this series when it was used to aired, i mean from 1994 - 2004 but i saw this in parts on TV when they started the re-run's.

I always found it interesting but never got time to watch it like a series. But when in college, i got this internet connection and then found out how can i get these all season's downloaded from the internet. I mean as a student i really couldn't afford to buy all the 10 DVD for the different season. So i got it all through this great way of getting the world of cinema at your home.
Leaving that.........we are still focusing on the famous TV series. Everything was so great about this series that you'll fall in love with all the characters not even with the main lead characters............you'll like the other characters too.

What i'll be doing from now on ...... is to post about the different characters from now on about their awesomeness.........what i have loved about them......?? and why you'll fall in love with them too.

New York -- Watch It For Kat

The hype of the movie is great, everybody was waiting for the movie. A good cast with a National award winner director Kabir khan. His last movie got him the national award, the best a director can get in India. Many things contributes to the popularity of this movie. Good cast, people like John Abraham, Katerina Kaif, Neil Nitin Mukesh and Irrfan khan. Another reason, it got released after a drought of movie when there was no release for more than 2 months. Good music, atleast 3 songs were great hit.




Ok here goes. This is good movie and go ahead and watch it. This is movie has a good stroy which has been directed the best way it could be.

Good points about the movie - watch this movie for Katerina kaif. I haven't seen anything like this before from her. She have given a lot of hits earlier but this is the only instance i have liked her. She always felt so plastic in earlier movies she has done. But this time it isn't like that. She has done really good job. She was so convincing in the movie that sometimes she can make you cry with her.



A good script is a major reason for this movie to succeed. Other people in the cast have also done good job. Irrfan khan, no need to say anything about him. You can just count on him everytime. Niel and John were also good in the movie but you can say that there was a possiblity of making it better.

Watch this movie because there is no good movie lined up for the next couple of weeks.

My Best Friend's GirlFriend -- Expected Dane Cook

I have seen Dane's one more movie before watching this one and he was playing somewhat a simillar kind of character as a Casanova. So its getting a bit boring, take my advice Dane, try something new next time. Other in the cast include, Kate Hudson whom i love cause she is so beautiful and that too one record. But she is not doing so good from the last 2-3 years, i believe. I mean Fool's Gold, Bride's war and this , i think she must have a good reason for these movies. I don't rate any of these movies or the character she played to match her caliber which i did saw when i saw her in some of her earlier movie. Another important character is played by Jason Biggs, can't understand why he can't get out of his "American Pie" hangover. He felt so similar in this one too. Just at a different level. I think all these three people should make some drastic changes to themselves because if they keep movies and charaters like what they have always done....count the atleast one who won't be watch that movie.

Wouldn't recommend this movie to anyone. I know you people have seen a lot of movie where one guy is a tatol loser and to get the girl he wants he takes help from another guy(in this movie as the name suggests the other guy is his own friend). Then the girl falls for the other guy but the other guy is guilty about that he stabbed his friendship and now he acts as an asshole so that the girl goes back to the original guy but when the original guy finds out that his friends loves her more than him, he plans to get them together again. I mean, come on. Its like same story just played by a different cast.

One good thing about the movie, the 10 reasons for Dane Cook to be an asshole on the dates. They showed it two times in the movie and those were the only 5 mins of the movie i liked .

Hairspray -- Find Out John There

Yes, i took a long time to watch this movie. But what to do...... i heard this movie was a musical because of which i was trying to avoid this movie. Musical movies are my genre. You can say this is my first musical english movie, i may have seen some hindi or Indian Musical Movies but never a movie out India. Musicals are boring that was the same thing i was thinking before watching this movie. Also i have seen some trailors from Woody Allen's some movie.....i'm sorry if made any mistakes while spelling his name out, i know he is legend there.

Ok, now turning to this movie again. It is one of those fairy tales where there is one ugly girl who always dreamt to make it big one day but never was able to. The lead character is a fat girl who wants to be a part of on going HIT T.V. musical show. She likes the way they perform on the TV and the way they enjoy there dance. But she is always discouraged to be one of them, especially my her mother, guess who?????? John Travolta. Yes, John plays her mother in the movie. She also goes for the audition for the TV show but gets rejected badly. But once while dancing in the Detention room of her school she catches the eye of one of the members of the same TV unit. She alasts makes it big on the TV...........everybody loves her, sorry did i say everybody, but here comes the two ugly twins....i meant two characters which did like her making big on their show. So they try to get rid of her. How they do so ? or if they succed in it or not? is the story.

The good things about the movie are :- A must watch performance by John Travolta. I have not seen him much ..... not many of his movies....but all of the one i have seen this is the best one. Second good thing, movie have a lot of good songs starting which Good Morning Baltimore!!!!, also acompanies is great music and awesome Choreography. There also good performances by the other leading character espeically the girl protaganist TRACY ........ sorry again i don't know the real name and right now i also don't have an internet connection. Amanda Bynes looked cute...especially she was sucking on that lolly pop the whole time in the movie.

Bad things about the movie, being a musical, it has a lot of song and dance sequenses and if you are not a musical movie fan, you tend to get bored. Another the movie is very predictable but that can be given to the movie, i mean its not a thriller or murder mystry.

Orkut Idol -- Organising the Biggest Extravaganza

Hi people,

Okay starting with those people who don't know what orkut is? Well orkut is a similar online social community like Myspace, Facebook, Hi-Fi, Twitter and etc. Orkut is the most widely used social networking site especially in India and has millions of users all around the world who are increasing day by day.

Cut to ORKUT IDOL, well orkut idol is a contest held in one of the most popular and heaviest community(with members close to 200,000) True Love. This is a contest created by the owner of the community and many people have participated. Being the one of the biggest community has certainly raised the popularity of this game too. With many a people coming in, only 12 got selected through. I know, i know .................you wanna know if i'm there or not............well duhhuhhhh..... if i wasn't then why i would be writing about it.

Ok so i participated and cause the moderators of the contest liked my audition so they gave me direct entry to the next level which means i won't go through the interview thing, reliefed. Yea. i'm reliefed cause the last time i did it, it was embarrasing. I did it once in the past, when there was a similar contest in the same community for "Roadies", yea yea............ i made it to the next round there too and also was able to be in the last 6 but couldn't carry ahead because of some personal reasons. Leaving that apeat.........i will happily miss the interview this time around and will be waiting for the excitement and thrill waiting for me round the cornor.

99 -- What is happening to Kunal

What the Fuck is Kunal Khemu upto these days. He is developing into one of those actor who are disappointing me everyday. I mean he raised a lot of expectations when he made a comeback or debut as a main lead and carried it very impressivly. Also following on with another typical Kunal Khemu style in "Traffic Signal" but after that its always been a slump. Look at the choices he made. And this is another movie to that string also.
When the trailors started, i was like excited, its a kunal khemu movie must be good and also with a really impressive cast. People like Soha ali khan, Boman Irani, Cyrus Brocha and Mahesh manjrekar who have done good work many a times. But i think the weekness of the movie was the screenplay and direction. I thought after watching the movie that could have been shown better on the screen.
The only thing good i found about the movie was the song, goes like "Aaye hai badshah". That's it, yea that's it, there wasn't even a single good about the movie that i could find.
I don't know anything about the technicalities of the movie making. Take me as a lame man or layman, what i wanted is some entertainment and the movie couldn't even live upto it. So won't suggest to watch this movie. Save you money.

Saekjeuk shigong -- Sex Is Zero

I have seen a lot of sex comidies. Yea, i have also gone through my teens and loved most of these movies. SuperBad was my fav of them all and most of the movies i have seen have been from the west. But this one is from east, not the first korean movie i have seen(i'll write about them later).

Ok about this movie. It has all the content, i mean you'll get to a lot of boobs and butts in this movie(so as a teenager, your dream comes true). The movie has a really funny character as the main lead, you can say that. I really liked that guy(sorry can't give out names here cause sorry again.......their name ain't that easy to remeber or pronouce). Moving ahead, the girl in the leading character was like the best and beautiful girl but one thing more.....its really hard for me to distinguish between girls and guys from east...........they all kinda look same ..... sorry if that hurts too.

Ok, more about the movie. Movie has some really awesome comedy scenes, OMG i was laughing so loud people behind the wall could hear me easily. Some of the jokes were tacky, people eating shity things and doing shity things.

Leaving that apart, the good thing about the movie is the main story line which ends up in a superb fashion. The love story, how it twists and turns in the end were awesome. The scene were the main lead male character is trying to make her laugh but manages to get only tears ........awesome. I don't cry that much during sex comedies but i did and that is something i love about the romantic movie.

This is a awesome movie. If you can rent it or watch it on theater.........go to the torrent site and download this movie from the internet. This movie is worth your time.

He's Just Not That Into You -- Good For One Time

I have been been a Drew Barrymore fan and not just as an actor but also as a producer.

Ginnifer Goodwin - Justin long Scarlett Johansson - Bradley Cooper - Jennifer Connelly Ben Affleck - Jennifer Aniston


Donnie Darko is one of my fav. So was expecting a good movie from her again. Also the movie has a good if not great cast especially the female cast, very attractive. I have seen Scarlett Johansson's 3 movie and last one was "Vicky, christina barcelona" , good movie to watch. So to make it short, i wanted to see the movie as soon as i saw the trailors of this movie.

I waited for the DVD to be released and then rented and watched it.

The good things about this movie is obviously the story and how well the all the different stories are been weaved into one big one. I loved Scarlett in the movie, also Justin long and Ginnifer Goodwin. Also i loved the characters, probably i won't remember the name of the actor who played the character but i'll remember the characters for long time like Gigi, Bradley Cooper to mention. Also I liked the love stories which were the part of this movie. My fav was Scarlett Johansson - Bradley Cooper - Jennifer Connelly. I liked Drew also and the comparision she makes between what the mess online dating system is and how convenient the offline dating is? One more good thing about the movie is that the screen space was distributed very intelligently. The character i wanted to watch were given much space or time on the screen.


One bad thing you can say about the movie is that, we have seen a lot of date movies. I Know the stories can be very different but still it gives you a De ja Vu kind of feeling.
