How To Write A Good Post Or Be a Good Postie

Well I recently saw a movie called “Finding Forrester” but this is not the review for that movie. This post is related to how to write a post. Some of the important and can be helpful facts from the movie are presented as follows and as how I interpreted. If you want you can watch the movie too.

The first thing is to write. Simple huh………well I thought so too but it isn’t but however you can make it simple. When I say write, it means you just start writing, more clearly you just start writing irrespective of the mind, just use your heart and write down. You shouldn’t think when you are writing. It would be straight from the heart and very raw. When you have written the whole thing then comes in the mind. In the later half you can use your mind to edit or rephrase everything.

As describing it through the words said by Sean Connary “when you write your first draft use your heart and you rewrite it with your head. According to me writing is to write, not to think ”.

There She Is …………………….

This is a really bad weekend socially because of the change in environment I got cold and I’m was sneezing and just clearing my nose the whole day. The best thing about catching cold was that I got an off day and I just slept through the day. I counted that I slept for about 15 hours in a day. Well I think that was my best.

The other thing which was interesting here is that through out the sleep, I don’t know for how much but can tell that maximum time I dreamt of her, my best in this realm too. I don’t know how much it matters for the readers but a lot to me. The whole dreaming period was awesome. It felt as if I was living with her. This dream felt really realistic as if I was feeling her physically with my hands. Human mind is really powerful because what I saw and felt in that dream is something I won’t forget.

There are some more instances which I would like to tell you here. She (about whom you people don’t know anything) was my classmate and the most problematic part of those days was to share these things with your guy friends. You are never really sure what will be their reaction? Will they throw me out of the herd? “I don’t want to loose my guys for a gal”, actually the mind said that but the heart always said “the guys won’t mind anything obviously they’ll be feeling the same feeling soon”. Having a big brother also didn’t helped because his suggestion were way too brave and fearless to me. His suggestion where impractical in the situation I was. Those suggestions were too brave for me. Now I do feel I was a little too coward or what in our native language is called a “fattu”.

But I can say that if I’d knew that she was going to say “Yes” then I would have done the first day I felt attracted.

There She Is …………………..

This is about the early days of mine inner conflicts, which I think is very normal in teens. In this situation, you are, at least I was, really very, very confused about that feeling which makes you restless when you watch her coming towards you in the shopping centre’s aisle. The feeling which makes you so nervous and so weak that you can’t even look at her when she is sitting right in front of you where as you can stare at her throughout the whole period while sitting at the back seat. The feel which will make you to get up in the morning and reach her home and give her a lift on your bike (one with out the motor).

This feeling makes you do such things which you’d never imagine to especially a few months or years ago. The transition is so huge, that it sometimes changes a kid into a guy or a man (but in rare cases).

Talking about me, the transition was huge. Changing me from a kid, a member of “We hate girls” (god knows why) to a completely new guy who suddenly has developed this new feeling which attracts me towards girls, especially her.

Feast Of Love – Celebrating Love

The cast of the movie and the promos of this movie and also few good review and also I like watching romantic movie, are the few reasons which made me watch this movie. And I was right which proved at the end. Morgan Freeman is like the Amitabh Bachan Hollywood but this is a very personal comparison. This is my first Greg Kinnear and Radha Mitchell movie.

The movie is about the character Bradly who after been in few relationships has a feeling that all his partners find their true love after marrying him which is obviously not him and he feels being used all the time. One of his wife fells for another women and second wife leaves him for her ex. Morgan is a friend and advisor to him and has an interesting part to play in the movie. Will Bradly be always be a ladder to meet the true love? Or will he find his true love too. One of the dialogs I remember from the movie is when Morgan tells his wife “there is a bad news and a good news……….good news is that bradly’s injury isn’t serious and will recover soon and bad news is that bradly has fallen in love again.”

The performances in the movie are awesome. All the characters are very well described and painted on the screen. A really good love story and also then other story which lead to main script and which support the main script are also good.

The movie is really good and if you are a romantic movie lover than watch this. Also watch out for the really surprising and tragic climax.

Bachna Aye Haseeno – Ranbir Carries Rishi Ji’s Legacy

This movie establishes Ranbir Kapoor as the successor of Rishi Kapoor Ji’s romantic excellence. I think everybody will agree that even after his movies not working that good on the theaters and critics but Ranbir has proved his potential in all of the his movie, which is just two now but I’m very much convinced with his romantic image. Even in Sawariya which I think was a good movie even if not many people and critics think it wasn’t. I like the performances by Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor in that movie too. Similarly in this movie, I found Ranbir Kapoor really good as an actor. Although I don’t think Bachna Aye Haseeno isn’t an “out of this world” kind of movie but it’s good. It keeps you occupied and entertained through out the whole time.

Another person who I feel stood out from others in the movie was Minnisha Lamba. You may say that I’m biased towards her and yes she is one of my favorite actresses in the present lot of girls out in the Indian movie industry. She is someone you can expect that every time she is on the screen, it will be something different. Minnisha Lamba performance in the first half of the movie gave me a hint of Preity Zinta. She showed those some of those bubbly and innocent looks which made me crazy. Minnisha Lamba as the teenager was so convincing and her performance was very eloquent.

Deepika Padukone has proved her acting potential to me atleast even through her first movie which was extremely mirch masala kinda movie. I think she is a good actress but didn’t see much for her in this movie. I think she has the least of the footage and most weak character with nothing at all to show. Although I like her performance but I think why one should cast her for such a role? Bipsha Basu was smoking hot in the movie. She looked beautiful and hot and also had a good meaty character which she justified with a good performance.

Music of the movie is a huge hit in the public. Everybody is humming the track called “Khuda jaane ki”. Some of the other dancing tracks are doing good for the DJ’s and especially the title track “Bachna aye haseeno” which also has the original fragment sung by great Kishore Kumar ji.

The movie is about a young guy Raj who goes through many events in his life where he’s with a girl who falls for him and Raj also fakes them that he loves them. But at every moment he ends up breaking the girl’s heart and running away like a coward. He realizes his mistakes when he faces the same in his life too. What happens and how it happens in Raj’s life is the story.

I would recommend the movie to all the people who like Indian movies and also who like romantic movies. For me the best part of the movie was when ever Minnisha Lamba enters the frame.

Hancock – Will Reluctant Superhero

I had great expectations from the movie because of Will Smith’s last two movies “I’m legend” and “The Persuit of happiness” but this movie was a disappointment. It wasn’t even close to his last movies. Will Smith is one of my favorite actor and I every time seek something special from him but this movie wasn’t his best or I would say not among them.

One thing I didn’t like in the movie was the second half where both the central characters turn against themselves and starts destroying the city to settle their disputes. Also the length of the movie was too short. I think they should have lengthened the movie a bit more so that they can come up with a few more details or other interesting things.

I liked the start where Hancock starts as a superhero who isn’t interested in being a hero for the city who is very reluctant to his work and reluctance is what he gives them back. The opening scene where the small kids tries to wake him up so that he could help the cops, but Hancock is more interested in sleeping and drinking but the good start didn’t lead to a good finish.

Although I haven’t seen much of Will Smith and Charliz Theron movies, individually but of all I have seen Hancock I the worst by both of them for me.

Meet The Parents

This happened with me again with in a week. Watch “Meet the parents” was the second instance in a week where I saw a movie’s first part after watching the sequel. First instance was when I saw Batman Begins before the “The Dark Knight” and this is the second instance cause I have seen Meet the fockers before.

I have seen some of the Ben stillers productions before and can say that he is really good and producing comedies with some really interesting stories and the series of two movies is my favorite from his lot of movie. His movies are really good humors not those senseless comedies and that too continuously.

I think almost everybody have seen this movie. A “may be” normal or simple script but with good performances and direction and screenplay this movie felt much different than others. Ben Stiller rocks as an actor and a comedian especially. The movie offers many instances which are hilarious and you won’t be able to stop yourself from felling on your tummy while laughing. Robert De Niro is great as a father or a over protective father who don’t want to let his daughter in wrong hands but because of that the daughter always looses the guy. Robert De Niro working as a FBI agent who tracks all the information about the guys so that he can break them up. Will Mr. Focker (Ben stiller) survive this test from gals father is the movie about.

Watch this movie and also the sequel too.

Singh Is Kinng – Funny……Not Funny

Anees Banzme made a bad impression, certainly on me atleast, with his last movie which was “WELCOME”. WELCOME was a lame comedy where almost at every time it felt as if the humor had been generated forcefully. They tried to make every scene funny and hilarious but that didn’t happen with the audience although the movie did extremely well on the ticket counters.

I couldn’t help to take my previous experience with WELCOME along to the theater and it also made me somewhat a little biased towards the movie. But none the less, the movie came out much better than my previous experience as it was much more sensible this time. Although Singh is kinng has many weak moments where the humor looks ridiculous.

Performance wise it was something which I have seen many a times from Akshay Kumar so can’t really say that it was extraordinary. Katrina Kaif, well people say that she is growing up movie by movie and is counted as a promising actress but I don’t feel that personally. I haven’t seen anything from her which can land her in the category of actresses. She is one of the most beautiful and also the most bankable actress but still she still need to improve a lot as an actress. Don’t know why Neha Dhupia did this movie. There isn’t anything for her in the movie. Kirron Kher and Om Puri were good in the movie but that is something I think didn’t need to be mentioned cause this is something very normal for them now. Javed Jafri’s character and his performance in that was something which we can call as surprise. It is an extremely funny character and equivalent performance by Javed too.

The music of the movie is all over the people before the release of the movie and music too. There are few tracks like the Title track and the only romantic song in the movie “Teri ore” are my picks from the movie. Also a very interesting song “Bhootni ke” to watch for.

One thing especially need to be mentioned here was the way the director has promoted Sikhism through the movie. When ever Akshay Kumar’s character preaches the bad guys and reminds them of them being Sikh where very good.

Overall the movie is a good time pass but not one of those senseless comedies.

Love Story – Version One

This is the series of love stories I’m starting to write and hope can write good and realistic and a lot.

This story is about two people who were together ever since they knew each other. For them falling in love was like “they had too”. Everyone who had seen them grow together can tell they will fall in love. The girl and boy named heidi and harold lived and grew in the same neighborhood. They were best friends and used to play together. Whereas Heidi used to play baseball with Harold. Harold also returned the favor as he used to play with dolls with Heidi.

There childhood had everything what they dreamt of but not the teens. They went in to the same school but very different where heidi was a more than an average grader Harold always had tough times with the studies. Harold was one of those kids who were not interested in studies and that’s why he wasn’t able to go to college. But heidi carried on with studies and enrolled into economics course into a reputed college.

They still loved each other although they were in very different condition. Harold was finding it tough to switch between his temporary jobs frequently. Although heidi’s life seemed more easy but it wasn’t cause with out Harold it was a similar hell to her.

But the story is about the present day.

Harold hates is new job because the boss doesn’t show any respect workers in his restaurant. Heidi got him this job because she wanted to help him out.

This day Harold and Heidi sitting together at Heidi’s apartment eating dinner. Its really late cause the restaurant closes at 12 PM and Harold usually gets late. Today, Heidi decided to wait for him for the dinner. Harold tells her:

Harold: Heidi, I got to tell you this that I can’t carry this job forward. I’m done with it.

Heidi: yea, I understand you but I need some more time. I have asked my friend to find a

better job this time.

Harold: This man is a total jerk who thinks of us as his slaves not workers. I can’t take

him any more. You know just cause of my promise to you, I didn’t kicked him

in the B***s.

(after some time)

Harold: Heidi, why do you love me so much. Me being such a loser in life who don’t

even have a home of his own, always dependent on you. Why do you love?

Heidi: I love you cause I’m proud of you.

Harold: (smiling) proud of me ………….

That conversation was the one which moved Harold’s trust and love towards Heidi to eternity.

This is a kind of true love where people love eachother with any terms and conditions. No matters how many ups and downs one’s life go through but if his/her love of the life is along, anyone can survive the darkest nightmares of life.

After Sex -- A Delightful Break

This movie is a real surprise. It was a really good and delightful break from the contemporary movies cause I have been watching a lot of action and drama movies in last few months. The reviews about the movie were very misleading cause after seeing the movie I can’t think why people won’t rate this movie a respectful rating.

The movie explores a rare (cause I haven’t seen something like this, may be you have been), unique and intelligent side of the human life. The movie is like a collection of short stories which are combined together but still all the stories have one thing common but at different circumstances and conditions. There are about 9-10 stories (I didn’t count it exactly) but every story presents you with something new which I found very realistic and felt very close.

The movie is about couples talking and conversing with each other after making love. At few instances it helps them to throw out the fear, at sometimes it lets them realize there love, at sometimes it was very naughty, at sometimes they learn to break free from the contemporary and etc. To understand, you really got to watch the movie.

The only thing what was really missing, which I think was, was a love story. All of the short stories were there but none of them had love leaving the story with old couple which was a rare and unique kind of love that’s cause for them making love wasn’t important for their relationship as they both had made love to many other people.



Well still this movie is something to watch and think you’ll like it too.

7/10 stars (mostly for the script and very realistic dialogs and convincing direction)

Batman Begins – Spectacular Beginning

Now I regret of not watching this movie earlier than the “The Dark Knight”. I just went in to the sequel and felt something missing at points then I decided to watch the earlier one really soon.

Although the sequel was very well distributed among the different characters but not the “Batman Begins”. As the name tells, this movie is all about Batman which is very much expected from a superhero movie. As the movie has grossed millions of bucks, I think there aren’t much people who don’t know anything about this movie. And now, I wish I had also contributed to those millions at that time.

Again there isn’t anything to tell to most of the people but cause I like to tell people what I feel about the movie, so I have to write my experience with the movie.

The movie is spectacular. It starts with letting you almost everything about the character Bruce Wayne, if you still haven’t known anything about the character. I mean after all those comics by DC and all those cartoon series after the character BATMAN. Taking you from his childhood to the adulthood. His transition from Bruce Wayne to BATMAN. All the important characters related to the Gotham city are displayed and performed very brilliantly. Although, again, this movie was more about being BATMAN.

I would especially like to appreciate the work of the person playing ALFRED, wayne’s most trusted person and his butler. This is my third of Christan Bale movies after “The Dark Knight” and “The Prestige”. Although it was difficult me to recognize him in the Batsuit in the second movie. This is my first Katie Holmes movie and was very much satisfied with her performance although that wasn’t a lengthy character but still it was very important and she did well.

The best thing for me is that now I can relate both the movies after watching the first part later.

Joker……………..Why so serious?

Understanding the character “Joker” can be very easy or very difficult and challenging. This totally depends on how much or how far you go to understand this character. Heath kept him inside a hotel room for about a month and studied the “joker”. He went through the history of “Joker” and similar character played in the history especially “heat (1995)” which is supposed to be a big influence the director and the actor.

But what was the different thing which made “Joker” stand out from the league? Obviously he was the most fearless character and which can go to any extent to do the evil. He can do the unexpected. He was funny but most of the time the jokes weren’t that pleasant on others. He was not after something like money or any valuables. He just liked the crime.

The most feared attribute of “the joker” was that he didn’t believe in the morals fixed by the society. He makes his own morals. He always thought what he was doing was the right thing and a person should do whatever he/she thinks is right. Nothing is more important than that.

Batman says that he is the worst nightmare of the criminals but “Joker” proved that he the worst nightmare of Batman.

No doubt the catch of “the dark knight” was the “Joker” and how well he proves himself the classic villain which according to him Gotham city needs badly. How well he manipulates the mind of the batman and the white knight “Hearvy dent”. I also liked the way the character of the “joker” was well defined. Everything things seemed so perfect as if the director wanted the “joker” character to live long after the movie released. The hair

of “Joker” or the dressing style which looked so perfect to the character and surely showed the carelessness of “Joker” towards himself.

The Dark Knight -- A Milestone In History

When I knew about the death of Heath ledger early this year, it left me shocked. After Ang Lee’s “Brokeback Mountain” heath and jake left a great impression on me and still the movie is one of my best. Then one day I heard that Heath was working on the Batman and that day later “Warner Bros.” said in an interview that Heath has completed his part of the movie. I really feel that heath’s untimely death made me more curious about the movie especially when I heard about the practice he did for the character. And speculations that the character was a responsible of the death in some way.

Leaving everything behind, the movie was a roller coaster ride all the way. I didn’t even realize that the intermission was after an hour or so and that time I didn’t wanted to leave the theater. The movie was so gripping throughout that I couldn’t leave the seat of anything. The movie impressed me in every way. The casting was good as everyone portrayed their character with sheer brilliance. Inclusion of Maggie Gyllanhaal in place Katie holms was also the one thing I liked. Maggie did best to her character.

Don’t want to say anything about the joker cause he left me speechless. I couldn’t even say anything for about 10 minutes after the movie ended. I felt so amazed by the movie.

This is the first batman movie without the name “Batman” in the title and that I think was cause that this was the only batman movie where someone else than the batman stole the show.

Arron Eckhart is someone I liked and known. I had seen 3-4 movies of him before and knew that guy can surprise with his abilities. His movie “Thank you for smoking” was the one which made him the special for me.

THE DARK KNIGHT is a movie about which you don’t talk about; you experience it by your own.

Friends Day

Today, 3^rd of August, the world celebrates the day of being a friend, a day dedicated to the all the people who are friends to somebody. The special bond which is the only one which the person chooses by self and not bonded by heavenly forces, as said in India. I always felt that there should be a day for every thing we respect like the father’s and mother’s day and et al. we need one especial day to show our love and that “we care” attitude to the people we love and respect.

There have been many beautiful things written about friendship but I haven’t read anything, sorry for that, cause i don’t really like reading. But I love my friends who were there when I need them the most like when I didn’t had money to “the dark knight” third time in a row and when I didn’t need them like when ever I’m with her.

I heard this thought some where which, here, I’m trying to translate into English. Here it goes “I was scared of the thought I’ll loose my friends whenever the road of life takes a turn, but thank god the road was straight”. I always thanked to god and love whatever was there to keep us all bonded since we all met. I loved them and tried to do all whatever I can. I also have this thing that I can’t say NO especially to a friend no matter what kind of situation am I. But at the same time my friends also know when and how to disturb me.

I think I have been a good friend to all of my friends, keeping the bad jokes I crack on them and also leaving behind how much I bore them all.

Can A Guy And a Gal Be Friends?

This is a real tricky question. If we go through the history of movies like the Hollywood and Indian movie industry, they will never be friends. These two fraternities have always taken friendship to the next level especially Indian movie industry. According to them, which I think, a guy and gal can never be friends. There been many movies which supported the fact where a friend’s pair always fell in love with each other.

Is this reality? Does this thing happen to most of the people? How can you fell for somebody about whom you know everything?

I read this thing some where in the editorial of a newspaper which said “A girls best friend is a gay” cause they can talk about all the things like the guys, fashion and all the girly things. I don’t know how much of it is true but I think a gay can be a gal’s best friend, although.

Keeping that too behind, now people even doubt the friendly love of two guys or gals as love. Man this world is turning into something really weird.
