Kismat Konnection – Watch It For Aziz Mirza

This is certainly one of the finest Aziz mirza movies. He has made beautiful movies like Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman etc. This movie, kissmat konnection, is a good family entertainer after a long time which has a good script with good performances by the cast helping it most.

This pairing of Shahid and Vidya may have seemed odd but they have performed good. I also think that they weren’t looking awesome as a pair. They were just good but have performed brilliantly individually. Shahid is growing and becoming better as an actor especially post Vivah. Vidya Balan has always been one of my favorite actresses in Indian movie industry since the day she entered. She looked very beautiful in the movie but I feel that better could have been done with her clothing. On the other hand, Shahid looked really good throughout the movie.

The script is based on coincidences which is my personal favorite especially in a romantic movies like this.

The music of the movie was also good as 2-3 songs already on peoples mind especially that Bakhuda tum hi hoo by Atif Aslam. Other songs are also doing well. So I would say this as a success for Pritam.

This movie is good and people should go and watch it with their family.

The Cable Guy – Freaky

The really felt like some freak show. Jim carry as obviously was really good. Playing that obsessed cable guy, he really scared me and the leading character in the movie too. This character Chip, aka cable guy aka Ric and many different names, some times hit me like Joker from the Batman series.

The movie is really good. The movie takes you to funny to hilarious to obsession to etc. The story is about the guy Steve who shifts to a new apartment when he and his GF decide to take a break from their relationship to access it all over again. Here, Steve meets the “cable guy” who a lonely guy with a lonely childhood and doesn’t have many or, may be, any friend. Steve is the only one who is some what with him. Then the story evolves as Jim character starts stalking Steve. How it affects Steve’s life is all the movie about.

This movie is an entertainer with superb performance by Jim with that lisp problem.

Raise Your Voice – Best Of Hillary’s

I have been a Hillary duff fan since I saw on the TV show. But was never satisfied with her performances on the bigger screen. I have seen her in about 2-3 movies before this but she was so not good in all those. This character in this movie was so much close to what she did in the TV show. May be that is why I liked this movie of her than the others.

But this movie is still good. Although it is some what predictable which means you can easily guess what’s going to happen next. But when ever the music is played in the movie, it just takes you away with it. The music of the movie is what I liked the most. May be the USP of the movie.

Harold and Kumar Go To White Castle – Getting (on) High(way)

Well I don’t know how it feels when one gets really high cause I’m not into pots or weeds. But still I think I can feel who it would be. I saw once the movie called “Smiley Face” starring Anna Faris and that movie was based on a gal who is addicted to pot. At first I didn’t liked the movie but at the end I felt really good about the movie.

Harold and kumar had some resemblance to that character. When ever both played guy high on weeds, it felt so convincing. Both of the guys did a great job together. And made this story more wonderful. People really go insane after smoking weeds and this was really well presented in the movie, therefore a tap on the back for the story writer and the director too.

When I saw the movie, I was alone and the moment I saw the advertisement of this white castle burgers it made me hungry too. I couldn’t believe it either, I felt so into the movie that when at the end they reach their destination and ate those burger, it made me so happy.

The movie is an absolute entertainer. Now I have heard that it has another sequel to this and I’m sure I’ll watch that soon too.

Get Smart – Funny and Watch for Steve Carell

Steve Carell has impressed me in couple of his movie I have saw like the “40 yrs old virgin” and “Little miss sunshine” and a little guest appearance on the “Bruce almighty”. All the felt about that he is very talent and versatile and is very good and tickling your funny bone. And the other reason for watching this movie was, obviously, Anne Hathway I think she is really, really beautiful and also like watching her act. This was the first time she was doing action and comedy with someone like Steve.

About the movie, I liked the movie it has many hilarious moments which will make you roll on your seat. The movie is really well paced. Steve and Anne really complimented each other. I like the part when they both are on the same mission and Steve want to lead cause of his male ego, obviously.

Other people were also good and did justice to their characters. And I was really shocked to see Dillip Singh Rana better known as The Great Khali in the cast. I didn’t even know he was working in movies again.

Overall the movie was a get Monday night comedy thing.

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Naa -- Great Perfomances But Disappointing Story

Jaane tu was one of those movies from whom I expected so much just not because of the crew associated with this movie but also since I first saw the teaser of this movie I was so impressed with the leading couple.

When I came out of theater, I saw so many happy faces around, which made me happy too and that’s why would like to thank the people related to this movie. One of the other rare things I saw was that on a Monday I hadn’t seen a house full in a multiplex which is a rare thing and happens once or twice a year. I didn’t got a ticket for the first show of the day that too on a weekday. I heard Imraan khan on a Private news channel when he was answering to his incoming fan calls and a small girl called in saying that she hadn’t saw the movie cause the only theater close to her was housefull for the whole weekend. Now this is some compliment for a new star or a debutant.

Talking about the movie, I loved all the things about the movie like the music, people involved like the star cast who performed brilliantly especially pratik babbar, Ratna pathak shah, Imraan khan, the other girl in Imraan life in the movie, Genelia , their gang of friends and Khan brothers (in descending order).

The movie has great music with “Aditi hass de” my personal favorite and others too.

The thing which I didn’t like, personally was because of Genelia’s weak grip of Hindi she was dialogs like in fragments no real phrase like dialog for her. When I saw Mere Baap Phele Aap, I liked her so much and really wanted to hear so much from her but got disappointed in this one too. Chalo hoping for next time.

The other thing was the climax which was something I have seen many times. I could count atleast more than 5 movies (and I know there are much more than that) which ended on the airport. I think there should be something else for the climax.

But overall the movie was entertaining. I enjoyed the movie in the theater.

Children of Heaven – Probably The Best Of My Life

I really loved this movie. It was like some magic which made me feel the prime characters. The story is so well written and told at the screen that I bounded me to my chair for the whole time. Although I don’t understand the language, what they were talking but the two little kids in the movie were so eloquent and portrayed their characters so truly that the story felt so close to me.





This is one movie which made me wish that I had a better vocabulary so that I could define the movie as beautifully as it was.




I would just like to strongly, no very strongly recommend this movie to all the people who’ll ever read this post.

The most important thing will be a great thanks to the people and crew behind this movie. It was an awesome experience. I don’t know any names from the movie….i mean the cast and crew……so I would like to congratulate everybody related to this movie.

War Inc. – Witty Satire

When I read about this movie, they all said it was anti-US and I felt the same way. The movie displays how US people attack a Gulf country, destroying their world. Then after making business at their. There is an instance in the movie where Jhon Cusack says this too. I don’t really remember the exact phrase but I do remember what it meant.

Leaving all the political things out side, the movie wasnt as good as I thought to be. Yes, it was funny at some moments but most of the time the humor didn’t fit the scene or the story. The story is a witty way to take on the current gulf war I think. 

No need to say John and Joan Cusack were great in the movie. I loved Marisa Tomei

too. Hillary duff also, playing her part as a confused pop star, did well.

Overall the movie is something different and people can watch it as a change from the regular movies.

Hollywoodland -- Mysterious

I have heard about Adrien brody a lot for his movies like “The pianist”. But hadn’t seen him perform. This was the first time to watch him and he did left a good impression. The movie was related to the murder mystery, in the 50-60’s, when George Reeves got killed or anything else cause the case isn’t resolved till date (i think so).

The flaw or not the flaw a disadvantage among the normal people who don’t enjoy slow stories may feel this movie as boring cause its really slow. The story evolves very slowly cause of detailing about the two leading characters of the movie and I think the director didn’t wanted to leave any detail out. This also made this movie lengthy. But to people who enjoying watching movies and pace of the movie doesn’t effect much to them, then this movie is like a treat and brilliant performances by Adrian, Ben Afflack, Daine lane and others made it better.

This is one of Ben affeck’s best performances. Every other actor in the movie was just perfect. I would cut some marks on the pace and length of the movie.

Chaos Theory – One of Ryan’s Best

I have seen Ryan renolds in few movies like “just friends”, “waiting” and a few other and was never impressed by him. But this is one movie of Ryan which impressed me lot. Not just the movie, I like Ryan I this movie more than ever. He performed really well. When I picked the movie as it was highly rated but when I read Ryan renolds, I felt different. But the movie turned out as good as the ratings was.

I liked the story too and a very good starting with a more exciting middle when so many twists take place in the leading characters life—about three of them. These twists change his life and relations with his wife and children. The leading character is a guy in his 30’s. He plays a person who teaches other peoples about time management. He has everything a good life, a family, friends but one day changes some accidents changes his life.

You will not be dissatisfied with this movie.

Grace Is Gone -- Moving

John cusack is one of my few favorite actors in Hollywood. I have seen about 2-3 movies of him before watching this. When I heard about this one and read about it, it really excited me.

The story shows the grief of a man who has lost his wife in the gulf war and has no idea how to convey this sad news to his two little daughters – Heidi (14 yrs) and Dawn (8 yrs). John has performed really good in the movie as some to all the people involved. The two girls in the movie felt so convincing. They understood the character very well that why, I think, they were so eloquent while playing the character.

Can’t really comment on the technicalities about movies cause I’m not a professional or a learner. I write what I feel about the movie and I fell really good about this movie.

I hate my self cause even after friendship of almost 4 yrs, I still can’t spell his name correctly. But I think I did it rightly this time. Hope so.

He has that look of a thug but a perfect example of “never judge a book by its cover” cause when he talk to you then only you know that thug looks are just what he looks like not really a person of that kind. I heard from many people that muslim people are very polite and humble and you can easily find that out by just talking to them and for sure you’ll see that when you meet Anwar.

He is what you say as a better grasping person cause he has done things in one day which we used to take days to do and still produce the similar result.

What …….. No you really didn’t meant that rite???? You just said that you have seen the dumbest person on the face of the earth. No this can’t be rite…….. you haven’t met harsh yet.

Well we have crowned him the dumbest person in the world. He asks you the most obvious questions. There have been hundreds of incidents where he asked the same person a question twice with 5 minutes. Now say, can you believe this.

Everyday we used to think that he has reached his peak today………..but no what we percept as a peak was not peaks but milestones which he laid almost tens everyday. He has many annoying features like singing……..yea he good at singing but how about always into your ears. You wouldn’t like that either. Another was his habit of listening a single track continually for more than 15 times…………this is the most annoying thing about him. He made me hate the songs I liked so much.

Dhermendra Kumar

He is one of the very few hard working guys I have ever come through in my life. If I was in his shoes I couldn’t have done and achieved what he did. There are a lot of differences between us like our background, families, schooling, up bringing etc but he has done more than what one could have expected from the starting. He had to travel almost 3hrs to reach college. But still he was never late than me. When ever I heard his schedule of the day like how and what he does on college days……like when he gets up to travel almost 3 hrs. On a normal day (first year of college), he used to get up as early as 5 am and after attending the whole day, he got back not less than 8 pm that is almost 12-14 hrs and for me that is something substantial. This plus his schooling earlier effected his grades in the starting days cause college was totally different than school, for him atleast. One thing to admit here is that he was the guy I have resembled the most because he spoke the language which I learned through my friends in school.

Chotu, as we all call him, is one of the two classmates I knew earlier than I knew my college. Although me where not that close or even know each other properly before college happened but I knew this guy exists in this world.

We both had some fun together like bunking the classes or jumping college premises when we were not allowed to go back home before then last class was over. We used to travel home back cause we shared the college bus so we knew more about each other in the starting semesters.

We used to play table tennis together joined by quarter(Harish) and I was a better player than him. Ok I doesn’t matter.

He is the most physically evolved person of our class as he gained over 20 kgs of weight and while entering the final semester, he also had a piercing on his eyebrow. Once after a fight, a man said to him “how can you hit people you look too cute to do things like that. Aren’t you afraid of getting facial marks of a fight?”

Aditya Bhushan

Well ADB(Aditya Bhushan) was the first guy of my class whom I met and eventually known. He was the guy I met on the first day college, first classmate to sit with and first to eat with. We have been together since then. The only thing which differ him from most of us and me including that he is one of the couple of students of our class who never failed in any university exam, where even the topper of our class also did but somehow he didn’t. That is some secret we all wanted to know but that is a secret for him too.

One of his memories which he shared with us, was a series of coincidences where all his friends or rather good friends failed the exams and he always managed to clear them. He thought it was him, cause he was the common reason among all and I also think that too. I have proof for that too…………..look at my mark sheets and you’ll find it.

He was the only person who doesn’t have what he deserved, an honors degree. Although he missed it by more than 8 percent but it was because he never wandered around the faculties for that extra attention.

To end it, would like to see him get what he deserves. And one thing more, people say every person gets what he deserves but this is an exception.
